A champion of Norway’s rich musical tradition, Eldbjørg Hemsing has been a household name in her native country since childhood and made her solo debut with the Bergen Philharmonic at the age of 11. She has since carefully positioned herself on both the national and international stage. Hemsing visits Troldhaugen togehter with French pianist Julien Quentin. Quentin has established himself as a versatile and sensitive musician. His remarkable depth of musicianship and distinct clarity of sound, make him an artist in demand as both soloist and chamber musician. 

This Sunday they presents a remarkable program of Griegs first violin sonata, as well as works by Tsjaikovsky, Szymanowsky and Prokofiev,
