Lunchtime Concerts: Oda Voltersvik

Oda Voltersvik was chosen to be part of the `Young Musicians Talent Programme` at the Grieg Academy in 2005. She holds a Master in Performance from the Royal College of Music and an Artist Diploma with distinction from Trinity Laban Conservatoire for Music and Dance in London.
Engagements internationally include “Palermo Classica” International Festival, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Leipzig Town Hall, and venues in London such as Regent Hall, St Martin in the Fields, St James’s Church Piccadilly and Wigmore Hall. She was a finalist in the Trinity Laban soloist competition and in the Jaques Samuels Intercollegiate competition in London in 2016.
Concert engagements in Norway include Pianist of the Week at Troldhaugen 2014 to 2017 and regularly concerts for the Bergen Chamber Music Society a.o. Oda Voltersvik has recorded her debut CD “Khoreia” as part of the Volt&Potenza Duo for the label Velut Luna.
She is founder of the Volt ensemble consisting of Scandinavian upcoming artists with postgraduate degrees from outstanding universities abroad, such as Julliard School of Music, Manhattan School of Music and Royal College of Music London. Upcoming concert tour in London, Bergen and Lofoten in 2017. Oda Voltersvik will record her solo debut CD autumn 2017 for the label KNS Classical.
