Lunchtime Concerts: Signe Bakke

Signe Bakke presents the lunchtime concerts, every day at 13:00 from 12– 18 June.

Signe Bakke performs regularly and has participated in Bergen International Festival and other festivals in Europe. In addition to giving solo recitals, Signe Bakke has performed as a soloist with various Norwegian orchestras. Over the years, she has been very active both as an accompanist and as a chamber musician, taking part in numerous concerts at home and abroad.

Signe Bakke has made highly acclaimed recordings of works by Karen Tanaka, Oliver Messiaen and Edvard Grieg. She is closely affiliated with Troldhaugen, where she gives concerts on a regular basis. Signe Bakke is associate professor at the Grieg Academy, University of Bergen.
