Recital: Mozart and Grieg

Recital with actress Ragnhild Gudbrandsen, violinist Harald Aadland and pianist Øyvind Aase, Sunday 19 November in Troldsalen.

Edvard Grieg had close connection to Mozart’s music, and has written a stimulating article on Mozart. The actress Ragnhild Gudbrandsen takes us through some of these texts, and performs Grieg’s melodrama Bergljot, in the piano version. Violinist Harald Aadland and pianist Øyvind Aase present violin sonatas by both composers, piano variations by Mozart, and Gieg’s popular Holberg suite for piano.

The texts will be read in Norwegian only.
