We are looking forward to welcoming our Composer in Residence, Rebecka Ahvenniemi back to Troldhaugen for the premiere of the composition that she has been working on throughout 2022.

Before the performance, there will also be a talk with Ahvenniemi.

Rebecka Sofia Ahvenniemi (b. 1982) lives in Oslo and has a master's degree in composition from the Grieg Academy. In addition, she has a doctorate in philosophy from the University of Helsinki. Among the projects Ahvenniemi has started in her year as KODE’s Composer in Residence, is a YouTube channel where she shares reflections and experiences from her travels, as well as from everyday life as a composer.
