CANCELLED: Lunchtime concert in Troldsalen with pianist Signe Bakke, Sunday 15 March at 13.00.

All concerts at Troldhaugen are cancelled as a consequence of the Coronavirus outbreak, until 14 April. More information available here.

We invite you to a lunchtime concert in Troldsalen chamber music hall, with a beautiful view to Edvard Grieg’s composer’s hut.

Grieg’s famous lyric pieces as well as his arrangements of Norwegian folk songs will be on the repertory. Each pianist will present their own programs.

Pianist of the day

Signe Bakke performs regularly and has participated in Bergen International Festival and other festivals in Europe. In addition to giving solo recitals, Signe Bakke has performed as a soloist with various Norwegian orchestras. Signe Bakke has made highly acclaimed recordings of works by Karen Tanaka, Oliver Messiaen and Edvard Grieg. She is closely affiliated with Troldhaugen, where she gives concerts on a regular basis. Signe Bakke is associate professor at the Grieg Academy, University of Bergen.


Ticket includes entrance to the exhibition and Grieg's Villa.
