Evening Recital with pianist Mai Goto in Troldsalen, Thursday 4 August at 18:00.

Mai Goto graduated from Osaka University of Music, Japan, where she studied with Atsuhiko Shimizu, and continued her studies with György Nádor at the Liszt Academy in Budapest. She has a Master's degree from the Grieg Academy, University of Bergen, where she studied with Signe Bakke and Torleif Torgersen.  

In July 2020, Mai Goto received the 1st prize of the Emil Rotundu competition, in Romania. Earlier, she was awarded the 1st prize in The 24th International Music Competition Rovero d'Oro in Italy, in 2009. 

Mai Goto is active both as a soloist and as a chamber musician, and has played concerts in Europe, USA and Japan.
