Øyvind Aase made his official debut as a concert pianist at the famous concert hall of the University of Oslo (Universitetets Aula) at the age of twenty, playing major works by Schubert, Schumann and Debussy. His performance of Schumann's Davidsbündlertänze op.6 in particular received critical acclaim in five papers. Today Øyvind Aase is a versatile performer. He has made recordings (in studio and live) for the Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish and Bulgarian state radios. His CD recordings include 9 volumes (10 records).

Edvard Grieg (1843-1907): Utvalgte Lyriske stykker / Selected Lyric Pieces 

We invite you to a lunch concert in Troldsalen, where the pianist of the week will present his or hers selection of Grieg’s music with a personal touch. Troldsalen is the most beautiful chamber music hall in Norway and gives a unique experience of the music, the hall and the nature outside. Duration: 30 min.

Leftover tickets are sold at Troldhaugen. The ticket includes entrance to the museum and to Grieg’s villa.
