Lunchtime Concerts: Christian Sommerfelt
Tuesday-Sunday at 11:30 and 13.00: Welcome to lunchtime concerts with Christian Sommerfelt, pianist of the week at Troldhaugen from 09 - 14 August.
We invite you to a lunchtime concert in Troldsalen chamber music hall, with a beautiful view to Edvard Grieg’s composer’s hut. Grieg’s famous lyric pieces as well as his arrangements of Norwegian folk songs will be on the repertory. Each pianist will present their own programs.
Concert in Troldsalen at 11:30 and 13:00.

Pianist of the week: Christian Sommerfelt
Christian Sommerfelt is a classical pianist from Bergen. In addition to many first prizes in the Norwegian Youth Music Competition, he won the 2019 Chiaro di Luna competition in Fermo, Italy.
Sommerfelt has performed as soloist with The Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra several times, including in 2013 at the Nordic Young People´s Concert. He is currently studying at masters level at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna (MDW) with prof. Lilya Zilberstein, after finishing his bachelor´s degree at the Norwegian Academy of Music with prof. Håvard Gimse and prof. Marianna Shirinyan
