Julie Yuqing Ye (1992) graduated from the Artist Diploma course at the Norwegian Academy of Music in 2018, after finishing her master and bachelor degrees at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Before her studies in London she went to the Barratt Due Institute of Music in Oslo, in the class of Einar Steen-Nøkleberg.

Last time she performed at Troldhaugen was at the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation’s live television broadcast "Grieg Minute by Minute" in 2018. Other venues include the Norwegian Opera and Ballet and the Oslo Concert Hall, as well as Wigmore Hall in London. She is currently based in Oslo, freelancing and teaching piano.

Lunchtime concerts 
Throughout the summer, Edvard Grieg Museum invites you to lunchtime concerts in Troldsalen chamber music hall, with a beautiful view to Edvard Grieg’s composer’s hut. Grieg’s famous lyric pieces as well as his arrangements of Norwegian folk songs will be on the repertory. Each pianist will present their own programs. Read more about the concerts
