Lunchtime concerts: Marina Kan Selvik
Tuesday-Sunday at 13.00: Welcome to a lunchtime concert with pianist Marina Kan Selvik.
Marina Kan Selvik is a russian-born Norwegian pianist. Winner of several international competitions as Clamo In Spain, J.Vitols Competition in Latvia, German Piano Open Hannover, Nordic Piano Competition in Sweden, Munich Klavierpodium in Germany and Concours Mayennes, France.
She has been soloist with Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, Trondheim Symphony Orchestra, Norwegian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Armenian State Orchestra, Lithuanian National Orchestra, Norwegian Radio Orchestra, Liepaja Symhony Orchestra, Alicante Symphony Orchestram Orquestra Sinfonica de la Region de Murcia, and was touring with St. Petersburg State Symphony Orchestra in Russia, Finland and Norway.
Kan Selvik was participating at festivals as Kyoto International Festival (Japan), Grieg Ciurlionis Festival (Lithuania), Bergen International Festival, Oslo Chamber Music Festival, Musical Chairs Montreal (Canada), Eurasian Music Games Astana (Kazakstan) and Rodion Schedrin-Festival Moscow (Russia). In 2020 she will take part in Fjord Classics International Festival in Sandefjord, Norway.
Every summer she gives solo recitals at Edvard Grieg Museum Troldhaugen (Bergen) where she also gave a special concert for Her Majesty Queen Sonja of Norway.
